At Unity, I worked on doc for developers who wanted to incorporate ads into their games.
I wrote conceptual and step-by-step doc, edited existing code comments, and created new comments, using XML, git, and custom Docs-as-Code tools created at Unity. At first, this documentation was written in Markdown, but I later ported most of the monetization documentation to MadCap Flare.
As part of my work, I suggested variable and method names to clarify sample code.
On this page, I've included screen shots of related work, including the recommendation from Unity SME and Software Engineer, Nick Richards. This recommendation is also visible on my LinkedIn Profile.
This is a page from the Monetization doc. I created this using Markdown and published it using Git tools.
Nick Richards is a software engineer who served as a SME on my SDK and REST API doc projects for Unity. This is his LinkedIn recommendation about me.
This is an example of writing I did to explain how ad bidding works, and how to incorporate it into your games.
At Burroughs (later UNISYS), I created a Programming Reference Manual as well as a graphics manual. The layout I designed enabled programmers to easily find what they needed, quickly. I also worked with graphic artists to interpret engineering concepts.
